Software name still be IE7Pro (We will not change the product name till IE8

4. This is a very early version, it will be very buggy. Please help us to find more bugs.

OK here's what I think...
1. Left click on IEPro status bar icon used to open context menu and now does nothing - why?
2. Double click on the same icon opens preferences which is what right click used to do that now opens context menu. I guess it's natural for right click to open the menu, but will take some time to get used to the new way of how things work.
3. Double click on a single empty tab used to open my homepages - now it has no effect which kinda sucks, cause I really got used to it (:
4. Since you seem to be redoing everything in 2.0 you should consider adding an option to temporarily enable session restore. It's sometimes useful, but I hate it when the session window pops up every time I start the browser. There should be something to enable it while closing or starting IE /like holding shift key or sth/. This way you could have it work just when you need it.
5. The installer didn't copy my own userscripts from the old location. Good thing it didn't delete them so I just moved them to the new folder.
6. I thought 2.0 would finally bring export/import of settings /preferably using online service/ - it didn't...
7. I'll be back with some thougts about the download manager after I use it (:

Please advise changes between beta1 and beta2.....

I found that Mini download can not use IE 's proxy .

I just noticed that link/submit button destination isn't displayed on status bar when the cursor is over it. I don't know if it's the new beta's fault, but it was definitely working before (:

Thanks for new beta.
Now Session restore works well.
I think mouse gestures works well all the time. But still flashing tabs.

Hmm... very good, but as bartheq said it gets rid of Userscripts and Plug-ins installed on the computer. While it isn't so bad for ones I've downloaded, the ones I made I only had one copy of (in the folder).

Well that's not exactly what I said (:
I just pointed out the the installer didn't copy my scripts from the old folder and I had to do this manually.
Check the Program Files\IE7Pro\userscripts folder and you should find your files and copy/move them to Program Files\IEPro\userscripts.

I found that Mini download manager has not been translated in various languages ![]()

I will try and see if all my settings are converted propoerly this time, that should be priority number one for this build 2, we should be providing users with easy migration.

The migration was smooth this time. Before installing beta 2, i had uninstalled all the instances of IEPro. This version needs a lot of grammer improvements, i will post the list of changes needed tommorow ![]()

MiniDownloader does not run when left clicking on some download links. Example below.
http://anonym.to/?http://rapidshare.com … IJ.avi.001
I got this download link from a forum and they post a lot of download links like this.
Can IE7Pro be fixed so MiniDownloader will open even on these kind of download link?

For Download Manager, I suggest a keyboard shortcut and an option in Tools menu.

Ahh, I see what you mean. So they've finally started the switch from IE7Pro, to IEPro. ![]()

Ctrl - M (I'm using Single Instance)
1) Links don't work if IE is minimised. If I invoke web 'links' from the Programs menu or links in an e-mail (Outlook 2003), more often than not IE will maximise briefly, minimise again, but / and the link has not opened a new tab.
2) Ctrl - M is clumsy (in my view). It would be much better to reconfigure the minimize button to send IE to the tray if the user choses. This should be a configuration option in IEPro.

Download Manager doesn't work for me. Gets to the last second and just stops...

Please add an option to change the name of the file you are downloading before it downloads in MiniDownloader! You can do that in IE's built in downloader.

Please add an option to use a 12 hour clock instead of a 24 hour clock in the MiniDownloader!
example if I downlaod a file at 14:00 I would rather have it say 2:00PM.

The DM is a major mess. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Plays havoc with some other desktop programs I have - broke my screen capture program when I tried to produce a screen shot of the DM for this forum, and wrecked my desktop calendar.
Just adds to my feeling that I want a 'lite' version of IEPro, without the DM and half a ton of other features I'll never use. Can we have an 'IEPro Lite'?

Strange.... when I installed this beta. The settings I selected (all) in the setup where not done. easy home was not set, also the mouse gestures etc.

This version is suitable for you, you can only select "base functions" module, Then all other modules will not be loaded to IE.
