Installing the x64 edition enables it to work with IE x64, Installing the x86 edition enables it to work with IE x86. Half of the apps on x64 windows launch the x64 copy of IE, half launch the x86. 85% of the browser plugins are x86 only. I wanted to install both to keep my browsing experience as similar as possible.

We known your request. Let us think about it.

I agree with this, by default leave it at 1 or two, advanced users will change it as necessary.
Also, most bugs have been mentioned.
To Jem, if you don't like a feature, disable it, thus, the move to a modular version.
Some gui complaints. The icon for the DM needs to be changed to something more ie like, the different looking icon looks like a separate DM instead of a replacement for dm for ie. Thanks for have the download manager minimize to the tray and changing the word to clear, also allowing to be saved to a certain place is very nice.

You should include the latest version of Fremy's Easy Homepage: http://cid-201f3835d49587fe.skydrive.li … 7ProRs.dll
Overall, great work guys, nice to see there is now a timeline to change the name to iepro. ![]()

Why the downloader does not work as the FF one? I mean if a download will began, intercept that file and show:
download with IE
download with IE7Pro, other
cancel
for example, then, begin the download. I wish a downloader just for those files only detected by IE (not by flashget)

Meh, I don't think this is a good idea, you can easily disable the download manager, if you want ie to handle it, or use another browser if you need to.

Crashes, (they were in earlier versions too)
*IE crashes when changing tab
*IE crashes when use the built in search or e.g. google.com
Bug (also in earlier version):
*Crash recovery says that every session has crashed
I'm using Vista x64 SWE. All these bugs has shown in the x86 version of ie7pro.
Please, fix these bugs. I'm like this close to stop using ie7pro.

Same here, I'd like to have IE replacement like miniDM to hook only downloads not detected by my external download manager (I'm using Orbit)

Seeing as how all the download manager requests are here, I'll just ask this here. Can you make the actual Download Manager smaller? Even on my computer (1600x1200 res) it's incredibly big. Also, would it be possible to have it not start d/ls immediately without having to set it to ask for the directory (I use the directory select mainly TO not have it start immediatly)?

I installed this release a few minutes ago. In my original IE7Pro v1.2 I had a modified accuweather and a modified searchstatus plugin, which I was working on a lot to make them really good for me. Now these plugins are gone, moved to the new place (IEPro2 in another dir), and has overwritten without a question, and now I'm totally fucked up with the original versions of these plugins. Did you really mean it?!
The installation has taken or kept every other program settings, text saver content, etc... and its really good. Why don't you thought about the scripts and the plugins.... Deleting and overwriting everything without question, I can't understand it. It's annoying even if I'm a dumb user, you should say, trying beta release without a backup.
But hey, they was in a different directory!!! How did you think to delete other files in other directories?! Just how the F**k did you think it?!?!?! What is the next step? IE7Pro install will delete my backups, my family pictures, my work files, and then the whole partition? I'm going crazy.... I can't believe it!!!
My modified and newly written user scripts was backed up in a place, thank god. I really like IE7Pro, the best IE addon so far. But this procedure is unacceptable for me.

Yeah, otherwise we will always need to stick with FF to sometimes "catch" files with our downloader and the trusty flash-got ff plug

Regarding: Mini Download Manager
When I select the option "Select Folder Before Each Download" - there is no option to create a new folder... This should DEFINITELY be added...

I cannot access the Easy Homepage anymore, anybody else have this problem?

Easy Homapage goes good here. The whole new thing is good, I haven't seen a bug or fatal error so far (after 1 day, though). The tiny DM and the Minimize to tray I like too. But I still miss some earlier requested features.

I found a bug caused when trying to move IE to tray icon.
When the mouse it over e.g. a link or image often a box with text appears: http://static.pici.se/pictures/bKlDucvcz.jpg
But when you use ctrl+m when a "box" has appeared and then restore IE to normal, the shadow from the box are still there: http://static.pici.se/pictures/zSbyDpBLu.jpg
And you have to restart IE to make it go away.
It's running on Vista x64 SWE, IE x86.

Since I installed this beta, IE started crashing very often and causing other programs to behave in a weird way too. After the crash I hear two error sound, but no windows show up.
Event viewer shows:
Application popup: dwwin.exe - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application.
Application popup: iedw.exe - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application.
I'm running XP Pro here and I don't think I'm gonna try this beta on my Vista laptop (:

replace the file for your easy homepage (ie7proRs.dll) from the ie7pro folder (c:\program files\ie7pro) to c:\program files\iepro) Also rename it to ieproRs.dll
This is al little patch. But this has be fixed in the installer.

double click on a tab won't close it. Like it is in version 1.2

Yes it does. Make sure you have that option checked in Preferences | Base Settings.

Me too (XP Prof SP2, IE7 build 7.0.5730.13).
But it's easy to solve, don't leave your mouse pointer over the link or on the tab's title when you fire ctrl-m!
There are a lot of more serious bugs in Windows than this. This is just a funny bug.

I can say also sometimes when I use any mouse gesture IE opens many many tabs at once and blocks memory. I need to be fast to open Task Manager to kill IE. If not Task Manager won't open and it is hard to kill IE which keep to open new tabs.

This also happens sometimes when I open sites from easy homepage
