I see there is new version available. Does it mean IE7Pro developers are alive? What bugs have been fixed?

It is announced on the official page: http://www.ie7pro.com/
The download link is http://dl.ie7pro.com/ie7prodl/IE7proSetup_2.4.6.exe

I can tell you it don't seem to fix much for IE8, still the same near enough.
Mouse Gestures esp.

Yes, but... If the developers have really returned and resumed work then anything is possible.
I wonder if they'll tell us where they've been?

If it was a big release it would not be called IE7 Pro, they hinted at buying the domain IE Pro before.

Even so, the x64 developers are still "dead."

Changelogs: IE7Pro 2.4.6 (Jul 03,2009):
1. Fixed some bugs.
If anyone discovers any fixes to IE8 please say so ![]()
And since they're not totally dead I don't understand why they don't spend a few secs on announcing something re. IE8.

I must be missing something...I use 2.4.5 on IE8 and I have full function (mouse gestures, dm, form filler, spell check, text saver, scripts, plugins etc), it works on all tabs with the TabProcGrowth hack.

Of course it works with hack. But it should work also without it. It would be good if developers fix the problem because with the hack IE lacks the multiprocess functionality, it is less stable. Crash of one tab causes crash of whole browser.

Well Drag Mouse DOWN & LEFT does not close ALL OTHER TABS if your on IE8, but does work on IE7.

Exactly!
I have no dare to install new version, maybe something gets wrong. ![]()
Just kidding...

Just installed version 2.46. Works perfectly with IE8 so far. Thank you so much, the IE7Pro Team!!!

Hmm... I'm seeing similar results as QQFarmer. I'm not putting all my hopes on it (as I haven't restarted my computer), but so far it's doing pretty well.
EDIT: It seems like it doesn't completely fix everything, it died after a few browser restarts. ![]()

Are you saying everything worked without applying Loosely Coupled IE???

Sadly, it seems to still need the registry hack in order to work completely. ![]()

What isn't working with IE8?

Yeah! Finally some update from the dev team.
I'm really shocked when I see a prompt window poped up suggesting to update IE7Pro.
Offline
Weird how they provide us with a new version, but no other communication whatsoever.

Well this was a nice surprise when I launched IE8. A new release of IE7Pro! I'm going to enable all the features I disabled because of incompatibility with IE8 and will report back.
BTW it would be nice to know what "bug" was fixed.
*Update*
Oh, great! That bloody bug where IE7Pro doesn't load on tabs is still present.
